Feeding the Cows with Grandpa!

March 4th, 2007
After lunch Grandpa let everyone into the cow pen as he fed them. The got fairly close to the action. They were very excited and wanted to pet the cow but the cows didn't go for it.

Sasha felt left out. She tried her best in get into the fence and eventually she came in too.

AND...that's as close as she's gonna get. She was very patient and waited quietly but the cows were just to nervous. Keira loved the cows and said that this was the best part of her day.

At the Farm with "Grandma and Grandpa"

March 4th, 2007
Simone, Josh, Keira, Matthew and I went to Country Mom's place. We arrived around noon and mom cooked us a quick lunch. Grandma went straight for the heart and served icecream for dessert. After lunch we played outside, although it was VERY cold so we didn't stay out too long. Dad let everyone into the "cow" pen while he fed them. The kids loved it and got fairly close to some of them. Back indoors we played games and visited. Everyone had a great time.

After supper Grandpa showed the boys how to play crokinal?? Sorry, that may have actually been just as easy to spell in german. I guess you'll figure out what I mean by looking at the picture.

Eventually, as some games do, it was time to take the match to a higher level. JJ

Then came the time to say goodbye. Grandpa sure gives good hugs!

Getting Autographs and meeting the drivers

Josh had a Gravedigger flag so after the show we stood in line to get autographs. The line was extremely long and it took a long time but the kids were happy to get autographs and meet the drivers.

MONSTER JAM 2007

On Saturday night I went to Monster Jam with Keira, Josh and Matthew. We had a lot of fun. It was incrediably LOUD making almost impossible to talk to one another but we enjoyed it anyway. Here are some pictures of the show...

Look at them cheering!! Not only were the monster trucks loud, so was the audience!
This is a picture of Gravedigger taking a big spill...but they fixed him up and he came back.
